Home Day 2

As I type away on this update, Dublin is curled up on my arm, purring away. He’s happy to be home, we’re happy he’s home.

Would the streets change him?

When Dublin was missing, there were so many worries. One of the worries was some kind of traumatic event would change his personality. I was worried he would be nervous about everything, jumpy and I was worried he would come back very skinny. Would he want to get outside again?

After two nights home, for the most part, he seems to be the same as he was before he ran off.

Noticeable changes are that he’s a little more vocal, in particular at bed time. It’s like he wants to make sure everyone is still here and that he’s not alone when the lights are off. I just call his name out, his cry changes tone and he seems to say “oh, ok, just checking“.

I’m quite sure what happens to the blog once I publish the found him story.
