Day 10

tl;dr; no sightings.

this is getting old, cat. come home.

We had a visitor last night, this is either Salem or Simon, two black cats that live 2 houses away. I have more confidence that the camera detection works for cats. One of them recorded nothing, though. 🤨

We walked the entire neighbourhood last night shaking a treat bag. We met some neighbours and still, no sightings. I learned that Patty explores more of the neighbourhood that I realized, but not on a regular basis.

We heard more stories of cats coming home after weeks missing. These are the stories I keep thinking about. I would love nothing more than to provide an update here that Dublin is home.

Posters are still up in the places we left them, thank you for leaving them in place. They might need an update.

Being an indoor cat Dublin doesn’t have the instinct to stay close to home, that is if he even knows where home is. I feel like he’s just going to stumble into home one day. That said, I am jealous of the indoor/outdoor cats who rarely stray more than 5 houses from home.

With no sightings, there’s still the worry that he’s trapped in a shed but I think most people would have needed to cut the lawn in the last 10 days, so, he’s had an opportunity to move on. But we’d still really appreciate it if you could do a deep search to the darkest corner of your shed. ❤️

Cats are connoisseurs of comfort.
