tl;dr; Still no sightings
We saw a lot of things, but no Dublin.
Another day, another walk about shaking a treat bag. It was bloody hot yesterday so our walk was later in the evening than usual.
We spotted 3 skunks, it’s amazing how quickly a skunk can disappear in an impossibly small crack under a building.
Patty the cat was hanging out on Selkirk, A new grey tabby cat spotted on the 60-90 block of Heritage. A bit grumbly and hissy as s/he approached us. I offered a treat, s/he accepted. We’re best friends now.
We spotted another new cat on Wolfe, it wasn’t Dublin and this cat dashed into cover before I could grab a photo.
We spotted a bunny (Hare) at the end of the Tuesday’s search route. But still no Dublin.
Most everyone we talk to still has an eye out for Dublin.
One thing we haven’t tried is a very early morning walk. So at 2 am I got up and walked the route again. It was still 22°C with a “feels like” 30°C. Quietly calling Dublin’s name I searched the shadows with a pen light hoping to catch some eyes. Not one cat. Sorry about your dog(s)freaking out at 0230. That’s the thing about dogs.
There were two visits on the deck last night. Murphy came to visit just after 4am.
The event history revealed a visitor while I was out. The clip is far too dark to ID this feline. It’s almost too dark to even ID as a cat. I don’t think it’s Dublin. Maybe Murphy visited earlier, but it could easily be Simon or Salem. Or Dublin. who knows.
